Parent participation is critical to the effectiveness and success of the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA). Our aim is to both fund raise and “friend” raise. As well as raising funds to provide and improve amenities and resources for the College, the PTFA also fosters fellowship between parents, friends and teachers and provides an avenue for parents to learn more about educational and other activities of the College.

All parents are encouraged to take an active role in the PTFA by supporting the various activities that may be planned each year.

The major fundraising event is the annual Deutschfest held in the College grounds on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. It allows the College to reach-out to the community and provide a day for the entire family in a safe environment. Click here to read more about Deutschfest 2018.

Every family who has a child at the College is automatically invited to attend PTFA functions, meetings and events. In addition, people who are associated with, or have an interest in, the College are encouraged to become involved.

The PTFA hosts a welcome BBQ at the start of each year and likewise finishes the year with a Christmas picnic.

The PTFA is established under the approval of the College Council and is required to act under the policies of the College and under the direction of the Principal. The PTFA meets on the second Tuesday of each month during school terms. Click here for 2018 meeting dates.
