What can I do for you today?
Parents and friends are welcome to volunteer their time and skills in a wide range of College activities.
Some of the activities where volunteers can make a difference include assisting children in the classroom with reading, spelling, number and project work; assisting the teacher prepare classroom materials such as in art and food technology; assisting the maintenance team in various gardening activities; assisting in the canteen preparing food; mentoring a student with high level social emotional needs; assisting our ministry worker in various activities; coaching a choir or music ensemble; coaching a sport team or organising an after school program. Whatever your gift and whatever time you have we can find you an available space.
It is a requirement under the Child Protection legislation and embedded in College policy that volunteers must hold a Working with Children Check card and attend a volunteer induction session at the College. WWCC applications are no cost if you are a volunteer. Just go to the Department of Justice to complete the online form and to Australia Post for a free photo.
