Bring Your Own Device Program

Anywhere anytime learning

Trinity students commence a 1:1 iPad personal programme in year 5. Upon entering year 7, they can either continue with their iPad or choose to bring a digital device of their choice that meets school specifications. By facilitating a BYOD model, Trinity Lutheran College empowers students by giving them direct involvement in the way they use digital technology for learning. The BYOD program supports student inquiry and problem solving by enabling the use of real-time data anytime and anywhere and supporting the manipulation and presentation of that data and associated information in a diversity of ways. Students use their device to access the student portal course that hosts daily school organization and their course information including assessment.

All students participate in pastoral care programs such as cyber safety, ethical and acceptable use of digital technology and social media protocols as well as subject skilling in a range of software programs appropriate to their studies.
